We tell the odd story of the Haitian-born adopted Canadian fighter who came to another country, as a small child, grew up in foster care, and ran the streets, putting himself in all kinds of dangerous situations. He ended up becoming a world champion boxer, with an exciting, crowd-pleasing style, and a growing fan base.

Finally, his career is ended by a series of punches that puts him in a coma, and makes his survival anything but assured, but the question remains is it a story of retribution for past transgressions or redemption for turning his life around after being on death's door?
