Tuesday's Dave Gram Show starts with a review of the Iowa caucuses with VTDigger.org columnist Jon Margolis.  Major Corine Wegener, who oversaw cultural preservation for U.S. forces in Iraq, joins Dave for a conversation about protecting cultural treasures in times of war. Later, legal analyst Dan Richardson joins Dave for a conversation about recent Vermont Supreme Court decisions.

Monday’s Dave Gram Show starts with a visit from VTDIgger’s Colin Meyn and a review of recent Vermont news. Later, the Vermont Land Trust’s Nick Richardson stops in to talk about that organization’s efforts to adapt to changing land use in Vermont.

Dave welcomes John Walters of VTDigger.org to open the show with a conversation about general Statehouse goings-on. Jon Groveman of the Vermont Natural Resources Council talks about that group’s proposal for big changes to Act 250. Later, three party leaders talk about their respective agendas.

The third day of the Dave Gram Show at the 2020 Vermont Farm Show features conversations between the host and Diane Bothfeld of the Vermont Agency of Agriculture on the state of dairying in the state; with retiring Farm Show manager Jackie Folsom about her work in that role; state master gardener coordinator Beret Halvorson; Jenn Colby of UVM’s Sustainable Agriculture Pasture Program; and Joanna Cummings of the USDA-funded animal disease biosecurity program at UVM.

Dave’s guests include UVM Extension’ Meredith Nike’s on farmers responding to climate change; Sarah Danny on the Vermont Farm to Plate Program; and Abby Willard and Ellen Kapler on the Vermont Strategic Agriculture Plan.

Dave travels to the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction for the first of three days of the Vermont Farm Show. Tuesday's guests include Agriculture Secretary Anson Tebbetts, Bob White of the Vermont Christmas Tree Growers Association and Bill Mares of the Vermont Beekeepers Association. In the last half hour, Dave switches to talk to Anne Galloway about a major national honor and grant to VTDigger.org, and talks about the impeachment trial with a correspondent from Axios.

Richard Galbraith, vice president for research at the University of Vermont, checks in to talk about National Mentoring Month. Later, Rep. Tom Stevens, D-Waterbury, talks with Dave about legislation on paid family leave, minimum wage and homelessness.

Seven Days reporter Kevin McCallum joins Dave to talk about a lawmaker's brush with the House ethics panel. Political scientist Linda Fowler of Dartmouth talks with Dave about the Democratic primary and impeachment. Later, the University of Vermont's Meredith Niles and Josh Kelly of the Agency of Natural Resources join Dave to talk about Vermont's coming universal recycling law.
