We can be empowered for victory even when the rest of the world says we are destined to be a victim.

In this first episode in a series about our identity, as being kings and priests in God's kingdom, David explains what it means to be both a king and a priest unto God. Kings exercise Christ-like dominion over creation through sacrificial service...Priests are responsible for the spiritual oversight of the world, in providing wisdom and guidance in spiritual matters, praying for the world, and are to exemplify a lifestyle of worship through moral integrity.

Irregardless of whether we act like kings and priests, God still see us that way. Our self-image needs a renovation. We will only change our self-image once we understand what it means to be made in His image.

Jesus took the walk unto death that we deserved, in carrying His cross to Golgotha. Jesus bore every curse so that we could be exclusively blessed. Jesus sprinkled His own blood on the mercy seat of heaven, as the ultimate High Priest to represent mankind before the Father, testifying that our bill had been paid. Jesus now bears that marks of our New Covenant with God in His own body, as scars in His hands and feet. Jesus did it all...and to this day, we have many reminders of our covenant-relationship with God that Jesus earned. Therefore, nothing should make us feel guilty or shameful, as God sees us through eyes of our covenant with Him in the shed blood of Jesus.
