For today's show, Dr. Asbery interviews Dr. Jeff Fajans (MrBoodaddy). Jeff is the dad of an energetic 3-year-old boy named Hendrix. Jeff has been creating & producing a unique style of kid’s music that actually rocks for both kids & parents - (it's not anything like your typical cookie-cutter, rinky-dink kid’s music. Picture in you mind, “Beastie Boys music for Babies.” )
With a PhD in Positive Organizational Psychology, Jeff is also a creative performer & leadership coach who works with creators and entrepreneurs to help them bring their biggest ideas to life. Here is some of Jeff's work. (See the Free offer)

This week on the David Lee Show, Dr. Asbery reaches out to Dr. Lisa Sistruck, author and President of DH Elevation in Atlanta, for some insight on the importance of engaging fathers, inspiring fathers and elevating fathers. Dr. Sistruck understands that we must make certain that fathers realize who they are, what they bring to the family table, where fatherhood is going, and how we as mentors and coaches can help fathers get to recognize their place, occupy their space, and act upon their significance within the family unit.

Hello Facebook Family!
I would like to thank everyone for their support with the programs that we have in place. Last month we gave away three lego set, pampers, and some cool non-fiction books. This month we will be receiving 100 chess sets that we will be giving away to kids. I could not have done any of this without your help. This month, I have a gift for you. It's the new Fixing Father's Theme Song. Last month, I shared some thoughts with my partner, Northside Nate. Please check out what he created. WOW! Powerful! The name of the song is "We're Fixing Fatherhood". My God, I love creative people. Enjoy.

Today Dr. Asbery talks about the importance of the father-daughter relationship. Involved fathers provide their daughters with support, safety, and protection. This is key for a girl when she is growing up. Especially when girls are seven times more likely to become pregnant as a teen without a father's input or presence. We want fathers to know that they are needed and that they prevent bad things from happening. Fathers are true heroes in the eyes of their children. Here at the David Lee Show, it is our job to make sure that fathers never forget this.

In today's episode, Dr. David Lee Asbery talks about what we choose to think about. The negative vs. the positive. Yes, there is a lot of negative things happening in this world right now. But, while we are here on this planet, we have to seek and find the things that make us happy and that bring us joy. We have to think about these things until eventually, they become our reality.
