Someone who stood up to and fought back against the bitter hatred and oppression faced by the African American community. To his detractors he was a figure who promoted hate and further aggravated racial tensions within the US, which were already teetering on the brink of implosion. As a reformed hustler and pimp he brought his fiery brand of black love and self-defence to the masses with the Black extremist organisation known as The Nation of Islam providing the pulpit.
