maybe the story of how we got here is seemingly insignificant. but that is a story that needs to be told too. the "insignificant" stories are the ones that get lost.

yes it is good to follow your passion. you know the one you geek out about. the difference between someone who geeks out and succeeds and someone who geeks out and fails is the measure. be uncool in pursuit of your passion and set yourself up to win so being cool doesn't distract you from what you really want.

why should you? well, there is a chance that one encounter could set the trajectory of your life. if you depended on the last first encounter you made what was the narrative you wrote to that person and where would it take you?

it is YOUR life. no one should run it for you. set your own trajectory. what do YOU want your life to look like.

i love like fangirl over strong female leaders. even more than that strong female groups. i hear more often than i even want to think about we just need a guy all-woman can't work. it absolutely can we are just told it can't or we are leading from a place of male-driven styles and that isn't gonna work no matter how hard we try.

there are five kinds of dreamer types. knowing who you are and how you dream helps you to identify what holds you back.

protecting yourself from a loss is a life unlived. i fearlessly believed in my original dream so much that it hurt when it didn't happen. so i set myself up to protect myself from ever failing again. but that got me nowhere.

you need to win most days. it is important that you are not just writing the end goal. if that is leaps and bounds away you won't get there and you will get lost along the way.

i know i am breaking year after year of terrible habits. the two things we should never do as women be great all on our own and ask for help. the two things contradict one another but you get what i am saying.
