  • A Parent's Worst Nightmare
Today we hear from Molly. It’s an intense heart wrenching interview- Molly has her two little girls to her ex partner. She met a man, fell in love and felt like her family was complete. Then one night she was blind sided by the worst thing that could ever happen to your children

  • The Swingers
We’ve all heard of swingers right? What do they actually do? Who are they? My immediate thought is of the cliché - keys in the bowl middle-aged couples now empty nesters, looking for something to enhance the next stage of life. But is this cliché true? What are the rules, what are the boundaries and what’s the reality of being a swinger?

  • The Endo Warrior
Endometriosis affects more than 11% of Australian women. I am one of them. Told I could never have children.
Today we speak to another endo warrior. You might know her as reality star Erin from Love Island and I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here. But what you don't know is that her body is riddled with the disease. She's had her 16th surgery and lives with chronic pain.

  • The Toxic Love Triangle
Today we are going to hear a complex story of a really toxic love triangle that is fuelled by violence and fear. It's a story that belongs in a Hollywood film, a story of manipulation and at its core is brutal domestic violence.

  • The Intersex Parent
The birth of your first child is miraculous, its a moment in time that you will never forget.
But what happens if you find out 4 weeks before birth that your child is intersex. You may be thinking right now what does that even mean?In hospital and society we are put in to boxes. When we are born the doctors tick girl or boy- but for many people this isn't the case.
This is one mothers story of her experience. It will differ to others in the intersex community or other intersex parents. I ask you to listen to this story as one of many - as always with an open heart and mind.

  • Infertility, Pregnancy Loss & Miracles
Infertility is one of the most challenging things a woman can go through. I’ve been there. My friend Keira and I have been friends for some time and when I became pregnant recently I was incredibly nervous to tell her. Would it change our friendship? Would she be triggered? I knew how jealous I was as friends fell pregnant around me when I was trying so hard to conceive.
Keira has a tremendous story of her own, she is brutally honest about her experiences and I thought it could be helpful for other women. This is more of a conversation between two friends rather than an interview- around infertility, pregnancy loss and miracles.

  • Extreme Post Natal Depression
Post natal depression - we hear this term a lot. 1 in 5 women will experience it post birth.
But what if it was extreme, on the very other end of the spectrum? What if your mental health deteriorated so quickly and dangerously your life and your newborn was at risk of harm or worse? What if you needed to be institutionalized for years, given ECT treatments and every drug imaginable to try and help?
This wasn't a "what if" for Taryn, this is her story.

  • The Child Sex Abuse Survivor
Cathy is the epitome of an Aussie battler. She has overcome very difficult odds. She is a survivor. Cathy reached out to me to share her story and how it had been partially covered in a documentary called “Ghost Hunter”. She said there was a lot more to the story and today she shares that with us.
Cathy endured sexual trauma as a child, she survived things no one should ever experience.

I grew up being taught to sing the Australian anthem with pride. To celebrate Australia Day with a bbq and drinks! But only in the past few years have I understood what Australia Day aka Invasion Day really means for our First Nations people. I’m confused how we can ignore how painful this day is for so many. I’m disappointed at how little people know or care. So I needed to dedicate an episode to this day with a brilliant woman by the name of AJ, who is passionate about deconstructing Australia Day.
