  • The Doula
Finally three and a half months later I got to record my birth story.
I wanted to do this in the first 6 weeks, but the Universe had other plans.
This is a three-part story so if you haven't listened already, go back to last week's episode and hear my husband Benji's perspective. Next week you'll hear from my doula Danae about what went down on June 15th.
And today you get to hear the story of Ever's arrival from my doula Danae's perspective.
I asked my friend Alison to interview us - I am so grateful for her, she has a beautiful mind and asked such beautiful questions. I hope you enjoy.
You can find out more information and contacts details for Danae on her website danaebirthdoula.com.au and the info for Wotbaby is available at wotbaby.com.au.
Content warning: This episode covers a graphic description of childbirth and may contain some explicit language.

  • The Answers To Your Questions - Part 2
Today’s episode is part 2 of Zoe answering your questions… and there were some great ones! She talks about what it takes to be a guest on The Deep, why we stopped recording earlier than planned and the episodes that got pulled for legal reasons. Zoe also spills on who her dream interview would be, how she copes with the uncomfortable moments with guests and shares her thoughts on whether or not she crosses a line into playing therapist.

  • The Answers To Your Questions - Part 1
In today’s episode Zoe answers your questions, including why she doesn’t want to share more of her own story, which episode was surprisingly the hardest for her to record, why some episodes can’t go to air, one of the hardest heart-breaking things about doing The Deep, the very popular question of how we find & select guests and so much more.
Zoe also talks a little about early guest Sandra Pankhurst who was a major inspiration for The Deep. Since this episode was recorded, Sandra sadly passed away. She had an incredible life and was so generous sharing her story with the world. We are very grateful we got the chance to have her in our ears as part of Season One.
