Since the beginning, we have had stories
The act of telling stories is primal, ancient in scope, exciting, and a powerful method of connection. The magic of storytelling is what connects us and links us together - through it, we can share experiences with others. This heart link brings our audience closer to us. It brings them into the world of who we are and what this road of life has given us. It is a way of being transported from the present to a fantastical place abounding with "wildness" and a sense of being on the edge of something far larger than who we are.
Join me as we talk about storytelling with special guest Caylin Gans - my personal friend and someone who has earned the highest amount of respect from me. Caylin is a storyteller and the owner of Forest Schooled.
In this podcast, amongst other items, we visit topics such as
What brought Caylin to stories, and how they have impacted her life
Thoughts on the power of stories - why we tell them and the majestical aspect of them
How to tell a story, should puppets be used, voices etc?
Will Caylin tell us a story?? Listen to the end and find out.
