Inspirational, competitive, and one of my closest mates, I met Coach Rick Croy when he was an assistant at my alma mater, St. Mary's of California. As the Head Coach for California Baptist University's Men's Basketball Team since 2013, Coach Croy guided the Lancers to 5 straight NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament before transitioning to DI for the '18-'19 season. We discuss why it’s important to keep score, how to build and develop competitiveness, stealing a page from Coach Harbaugh's playbook and much more.

University Settlement does some really important work in Cleveland’s Broadway Slavic Village, offering youth programming and wrap around services that focus on keeping families together. My wife, Anna, and I worked with them last year on building out a Book Club and Vision Day and I caught up with Executive Director Earl Pike to highlight their impact in the community.
