The Denims

Your two favorite rambling prognosticating podcasters are back to discuss the American Idol Top 7 for the second time. We are discussing it for the second time, since the judges used the Save to keep Matt Giraud for another week. What did he do with his third chance (he was a wildcard pick), and how did the rest of them fare? Listen and find out!

Tax Day (April 15) was full of protests by people along the greater political spectrum. I give my counterargument to the "teabaggers" who conned people into protesting against their own tax cuts and other things that would actually help them get and/or keep a job. Everybody, please check out the Dragen Podcast at http://dragenpodcast.libsyn.com/rss Also, please send some love to Thom in Nashville after he received some great news! Your favorite prognosticating podcasters are back for another fun-filled day of podcasting about American Idol's Top 7 performance show. We'll look at who was good, who wasn't, and who's up next for eliminaiton.Oh, and we are definitely wondering why Quentin Tarantino was the mentor?Oh, well, give it a listen!

In my first personal journal since my 200th episode, I talk about the exciting recent news about the states of Iowa and Vermont legally recognizing same-sex marriage, as well as the possibility of Washington D.C. recognizing same-sex marriages performed in other states. I also appeal to the people who think that by these actions we are "attacking" traditional marriage. We didn't bring the fight, but it is ours to fight if we are to win equality, and we must do so. Your two favorite Idol podcasters are back to tell you that when it comes to American Idol and Motown, our" Love Is Like a Heatwave."The Top 10 paid tribute to the golden anniversary of Detroit's own Motown by singing the classics and working with Smokey Robinson. Some performances were a "Ball of Confusion," and often left us asking "What's Going On?"But, "Ooh, Baby, Baby," there were some performances that had us ready for "Dancing In the Streets."Tom and I "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" you to listen to us as we critique the performances, then make our predictions for the Bottom Three and the next contestant who will go home.As always, it's "Because Of You," our listeners that we do this.
