  • Episode 104-Happy Birthday to Me!
It's my birthday (01/23), but don't think for one second that I'm taking a day off from the politics and pop culture that you love to hear me talk about! Heath Ledger has died at age 28, and as of now the cause is still unofficial. A Twitter debate erupted over the media's priority of focusing on celebrity lives/deaths and ignoring lives/deaths due to war, poverty, etc., and I give my perspective. Special thanks to Indiana University's English department. This is the link for the John Donne excerpt: http://isu.indstate.edu/ilnprof/ENG451/ISLAND/index.html Ramblings on the economy, the election, and whether or not we're on the brink of another Great Depression (there was a Republican in the White House the last time it happened).
