I apologize for the lateness of the episode. Between the weather and the creative bug biting me with the idea of the mashup, I ran over schedule. I'll do better next week. No Child Left Behind needs to be left behind. Illinois passes mandatory moment of silence. Is mandatory prayer far behind? Bay City commissioner gets his behind handed to him by another commissioner's wife, with musical tribute by me. Click here to see the my flickr collection of both candidates' signs. You do want to. I'm going out of town, but I wanted to get out an episode before I left. Beloved opera star Luciano Pavarotti dies this week at 71. He will be missed by many. Rev. D. James Kennedy (aka "Mr. 'Marriage=One Man + One Woman' Bumpersticker'") dies at 76. He will be missed by the Republican party. Speaking of anti-gay-marriage hypocrites, Larry Craig is flip-flopping on whether or not to resign from the Senate after his little "flip-flopping" episode in the airport bathroom. He will be missed by Fox News. All on this week's episode, which is available for your aural pleasure here. Lies! Sex! Scandal! Resignations! It's gotta be hard to be a Republican these days! Press Secretary Tony Snow joins the stampede of people heading for the exits at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Larry Craig will resign from the Senate after he realizes he can't get anybody to believe he was set up, entrapped, or browbeat by the media. There is a spiritual principle at work here, and I discuss it. Podcasting mayhem at its finest can be found here. Enough with the drama already! Let's have some fun this week! New "Butt Cam" ensures men everywhere no longer have to come up with the "perfect" answer to "Do these jeans make my ass look fat?" Is that my new phonebook? No, just your new iPhone bill. Check out these YouTube videos of blogger Justine Ezarik's unbelievable 300-page (front and back!) iPhone bill from AT&T. And raw interview footage from TV station WTAE (Pittsburgh): Apparently, the information on the bills is VERY detailed, so those who were downloading porn on their iPhones should take notice of this next item: AT&T has given people the option of a summarized bill, or pay $1.99 to continue to get a book every month. A deal, no? Lion's Gate Pictures sues clothing manufacturers over their use of the famous Dirty Dancing quote, "Nobody puts Baby in a corner!" on baby clothes. I wonder if produce stand owners are in danger over their inadverdent use of the less-famous but still memorable quote "I carried a watermelon?" The reason given for the legal action is that people may mistake these for legitimately licensed clothing, not to mention the official Dirty Dancing PC Game. Based on the insert in the 20th Anniversary Edition DVD, I don't think that will be a problem... Speaking of *Dirty Dancing,* I reveal my never-before-disclosed connection to the movie. I play "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon," and find I can connect myself to Kevin Bacon in less than six movies! Happy Birthday to podsafe musician Cassandra Kubinski!
