The one where the gang finally talks about Legendborn by Tracy Deonn!

It took a couple of weeks (and a surprise episode!) but we finally got to discuss all of our thoughts about Legendborn!

Did we hate this book? Did we love this book?  Was this book a warm hug? Who did we want Bree to end up with? Did those within The Order like to live? Did we make the crazy choice to record this AFTER a bonus Jonas episode (yes!)? For all other answers, and for questions you didn't even know we had, you're gonna have to listen to us break down this book intrigue by intrigue. (Like you weren't already going to?)

Check your local podcast listening app for our discussion of Legendborn in this week's episode of Textual Deviants (brought to you by the strike supporters of Disney Deviants)!

Love is patient, love is blind, love is toxic, and unkind...that's how that goes right? This we bring you a bonus episode so long, it MUST be the director's cut. This week, we bring you 2 episodes for the price of one. We are deep diving into the first episodes of Netflix's Love Is Blind. And we have important questions like...
1) You know it's still yelling even though you're keeping your voice down right?
2) What exactly is the current state of heterosexual love?
3) Are solo cups the champagne flutes of gym bros?

All this and more

Now let me tell you a little about two girls who are in solidarity with the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Yes, the industry is still on strike and so are we. So we are back with our first read in a long time and we're not sure if we remember how we used to do this, but we sure as hell are gonna have fun trying to figure it out!

For today's episode we read Suffer the Children by Craig DiLouie and the description is as follows:  A mysterious disease claims the world's children before bringing them back. To continue surviving, however, they need to ingest human blood. As you may guess from this synopsis, this horror fiction left us with many many feelings. Join us as we discuss our first impressions, a.ka first anxiety, existential dread, how Mr. Craiggory DiLouis had us questioning whether or not we want to be parents nd much more!  Mister Craiggory DiLouis, you have some 'splainin' to do!

Hello again everyone!

We're back from an unannounced hiatus that was necessary for many reasons! Travel, family, and the havoc that general late-stage capitalism is wreaking on our chosen industry!

As the title has probably made you aware, SAG and the WGA is on strike! Now what does that mean for us? You'll have to listen to find out!

Join us as we talk through reasons for the strike, where we stand (hint hint: we ain't no scabs), and a pivot or maybe rather a return to our roots! Plus bonus content if you make it all the way to the end!

Can't wait to hear from all of you once you listen to this weeks episode of Disney Deviants(?)!

AnYwAy join us as we discuss some very important questions like

Whose vocals are we listen to? Zac Efron or Drew Seeley?
Who is/are the real villain(s) of this movie?
How is every single song a bop?
And WHY ARE SHARPAY AND RYAN AUDITIONING FOR THE LOVER LEADS OF THIS PLAY????

We need answers Darby!!!! Perhaps we'll get them in this week's episode as long as we're All in This Together! (See what we did there?)

Welcome back to another NOT regularly scheduled episode of Disney Deviants!

We know we promised Stepsister From Planet Weird, but hopefully you can forgive us for this deviation, because we got to sit down and talk with the director of the ENTIRE Z-O-M-B-I-E-S  franchise!

After a DM to our Disney Deviants Instagram, we saw that Paul had not only listen to our last episode, but that he had was totally game from coming on the podcast to discuss all of the questions, comments, and concerns we had about the final (?) movie in the franchise. And our chaotic selves of course said yes!

So sit down, relax, and make sure you grab a cup  of tea, because we spill of our ours in this week's episode of Disney Deviants!
