  • #22 - The Chowchilla Bus Kidnapping [True Crime]

Would you consider kidnapping a busload of children for $5 million? The majority of us (hopefully) would say absolutely not. Allie and Amanda are back with another true crime episode, discussing the 1976 Chowchilla Bus Kidnapping. Frank Edward 'Ed' Ray was transporting 26 kids back to Chowchilla California, after a day at the swimming pool, when 3 masked men hijacked the bus, kidnapping Ed and the 26 kids. We discuss the largest mass kidnapping in US history, how Ed Ray is an absolute hero, the unfortunate after-effects of the kidnapping, the parole status of the kidnappers, and much more.
