Empathy is a skill that can be learned.

It is the ability to understand and share another person's feelings, thoughts, and experiences. It involves recognizing emotions in others, being sensitive to their feelings, and responding in a supportive and compassionate manner. Empathy can be cognitive (understanding someone’s perspective) or emotional (feeling what another person feels).
