In this episode, we explore the transformative power of service in the journey of addiction recovery. We delve into how helping others can reinforce personal recovery, foster a sense of community, and provide purpose. Whether you are in recovery or supporting someone who is, discover how acts of service can be a healing force for everyone involved.
This episode features one of my best friends, Anna Rose, who has been a part of my life for the past 11 years. She has known me since before I started using and has watched my journey all the way up until now. In this episode, we get an outside perspective of how my addiction affected others and those closest to me in my life.

Some of us younger addicts feel a different sort of isolation because of our age. Being young in recovery is not easy, but it is 100% worth it. We are not alone. We have a chair in the rooms of recovery no matter the drugs we used, no matter the length of time we used, no matter how deep our bottom was.
In this episode, I share parts of my story and stories from other young addicts (published in NA literature).

Recovery doesn't guarantee that we won't still come across struggles and hard times in our lives... we have to learn how to get through them differently than we did in our addiction. In this episode, I talk about different common struggles in recovery and how I have gotten through them.

This podcast is all about being a young addict in recovery. I am completely transparent about my experiences in active addiction and in recovery and talk about everything from the struggles... to…
My goal is to break the stigma of addiction and educate others on what life looks like as a [young] recovering addict. When I was in my active addiction, I had no idea what was wrong with me or why I would do things I knew were wrong, without a second thought. I had no answer as to why I was continuously hurting others around me or why I was choosing drugs over everyone and everything. I genuinely thought I was just a terrible person. Today, I have an answer AND I’ve found a solution. I hope you hear something you relate with or learn something you didn't know before. If this is not for you, I hope you can pass this podcast along to someone you know who is struggling. Thanks for checking my podcast out (:
