Andrea Edelen, RDH, BS graduated from the University of Louisville Dental Hygiene Program and later received her Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Promotion from O’Hehir University. She spent the early part of her career working in private practice before joining Mortenson Dental Partners in 2008. 

Her passion for patient care and helping hygienists achieve success led her to mentoring and eventually the roles of Regional and National Director of Dental Hygiene and Clinical Support. She is a member of the Practice Excellence Team, which encompasses Operations and Learning. Andrea is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and Toastmasters. 

She is a Louisville Cardinal fan and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Dennis’ career spans 40 years of senior executive experience in the specialty products technology arena – both industrial and consumer.  He has been instrumental in the creation of patented concepts that have revolutionized several markets on a global basis. His diverse business credentials have spanned 45 countries, including several visits to Germany and partial domicile in Berlin as President of Atotech, a company formed when the Schering, AG Metal Finishing Operations were acquired by M&T Harshaw, where Hanlon was President. 

Dennis also compiled several executive roles that placed him among the international leaders in the fields of business and technology development in the sectors of metal finishing, wood products, glass products, plastic additives and industrial chemical applications; and now sports and dental markets.

Hanlon recently created Soluria, LLC, as a start-up venture when two PhD’s and a senior biologist approached his business consulting firm, Cyanetix Group, with an idea for conducting research to create and patent new sanitizing spray products for mouth guards.  These devices were shown to be seriously colonized with several forms of bacteria. This concept was expanded to include removable dental appliances and has now been commercialized with new proprietary products Guard Health (for athletic mouth guard users), and Smile Saver (for dental appliances such as retainers, clear aligner trays, partial dentures and night guards). 

Hanlon holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology; and an International Marketing Management degree from Columbia University. He also served as Professor of Career Management and Entrepreneurship at Ave Maria University of Southwest Florida.

Steve Dobnikar is the Midwest / Canadian Regional Manager for Kulzer Dental. Prior to his current role, he served as both a Clinical and Laboratory Representative, where he earned Representative of the Year in both roles and won their President’s Club trip 4 out of 5 years.

Steve received his undergraduate degree in Professional Sales and Marketing from the University of Toledo and his MBA from Cleveland State University. In his spare time he enjoys, wood working and spending time with his wife, 3 children and dog.

Brenda Sharp McCarson, RDH, BS is the National Manager of Brasseler USA’s Dental Hygiene and Hand Instrument Segment.   She presents continuing education programs to dental hygiene professionals on Current Trends in Dental Hygiene Instrumentation, Simplifying Dental Hygiene Instrumentation, Piezoelectric Ultrasonic Instrumentation and Hand Instrument Reprocessing.

Ms. McCarson’s  40 years as a licensed dental hygienist includes experience in the dental and medical sales industry, public health dentistry, education and clinical practice in general and periodontal  practices.   She is a graduate of Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC with an AS in Dental Hygiene and obtained a BS in Health Science from the Medical University of South Carolina.

McCarson is a former ADHA trustee, past president and life member of the SC Dental Hygiene Association and has been recognized for outstanding service to the dental hygiene profession through her national and state affiliations. In addition, she serves on ADHA’s Access Industry Advisory Board and Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s Corporate Council.

Rhoda Pepito Kublickis was born in the Philippines. She holds multi-state hygiene licensees. She received Associates in Science in Dental Hygiene from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and her Bachelor of Applied Science of Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College. Twenty-nine years after hygiene school at Fairleigh Dickinson University, she received her Masters of Health Science with high honors from Nova Southeastern University.

She served as President of the Florida Dental Hygiene Association from 2014-15. She has educated several thousand on oral and systemic link across 24 states as the Regional Xylitol Educator for Xlear/Spry, the leading manufacturer of xylitol dental defense products. She has presented for ATRIDOX and is a Key Opinion Leader for American Eagle Instruments, Coltene, VOCO and Young Dental. Prevention is her passion.

She is also an Oral Care Service provider for HyLife Oral Health Alliance, providing weekly brushing, interdental cleaning and xylitol to her clients in assisted living facilities in Broward County. Trained in mass disasters for FEMORS the Florida Emergency Mortuary Operations Response System Rhoda assists forensic odontologists to identify deceased at Broward, Dade and Palm Beach County Medical Examiners offices.

She is one of 2018’s Sunstar/RDH Award of distinction for her of years’ dental forensic volunteer service. She’s been married to Alex since 1985 and together they have two Marines and a their youngest is a Golden Knight who attends University of Central Florida.

Carol Jahn, RDH, MS has a BS in dental hygiene from the University of Iowa and an MS in Continuing Education from the University of St Francis.  She has been a dental hygienist since 1982; she practiced clinically for 14 years in general and periodontal practices. 

Currently, she is the Director of Professional Relations & Education for  Water Pik, Inc. Carol is a lifelong member of ADHA and currently serves at the ADHA Leadership Development Chair and delegate to the International Federation of Dental Hygiene.  She lives the Chicago suburbs with her partner, Larry, and their dog, Jake.
