Now, fresh off their Peach Belt Tournament victory, the Augusta Jags are preparing for a situation that many had already written them off of: to host the first round of the playoffs.

This Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday, Christenberry Fieldhouse will host the D2 Men's Basketball tournament for the region with the winner having a chance to go to the Sweet 16!

The Augusta University Jags fell to USC Aiken this week to bring their record to 20-5 overall (11-4 in conference play). Coach Metress and Chad Cook discuss the incredibly difficult Peach Belt region and how the Jags needs to prepare for the Peach Belt Conference and, ultimately, the NCAA Tournament in March.

Coach Metress is back to talk about continuing conference play with two victories last week over North Georgia and Georgia College. We look at some highlights from PBC Player of the Week Tyshaun Crawford and look forward to the remaining games with a chance to host the Peach Belt Conference championship.

Today, we talk to Coach Metress coming off of their first conference loss of the season. This week our guest is Carson Seemann, redshirt freshman from Cincinnati, Ohio and a finance major.

We discuss his high school career, including his transfer from an entrenched championship team and helping his new team to hang a banner before going to AU, but continuing to receive a lot of support from his Cincy community. We talk basketball, career plans, and maturity.

Miguel is one of the most talented players to ever come out of the Jaguars program, and we hear all about his journey coming to Augusta all the way from Puerto Rico. That and highlights for his season, as well as a couple of key players in the winning AU season so far.

After a Christmas break Dip is back in the studio to talk with one of Augusta University's star players: Tyree Myers. We talk about his career with the Jags now in it's fifth year, and what the rest of the season holds.
