We just celebrated a very special occasion, Father’s Day.  What better way to celebrate than to hear from a father who has made some huge leaps in his life?

In this episode, Rachel welcomes her very own daddy to the podcast.  Dr. John Adam “daddy” aka Dr. Daddy is a math professor at ODU, author, amazing dad, terrible tutor, and world traveler.  He shares his very own experience with making leaps in family, profession, and culture.  There is no shortage of fun and laughter in this episode that will leave you with wisdom that can only come from a “daddy.”

In the past few weeks, America has engaged in a new movement to change the direction of future generations.  Since the death of George Floyd, a black man whose life was senselessly taken through police brutality, there is a resounding cry among the American people that begs to be heard and acknowledged,  #blacklivesmatter

In this episode, Rachel shares her own personal growth experience.  She acknowledges that she is imperfect, may say the wrong things and may stumble at times in this growth journey but things have clicked and she is aware that these conversations need to happen.  She offers an invitation to all to join her using our voices and influence to make a necessary change!
