With more than 50 years of industry experience each, six direct selling legends share their memories, knowledge and insight to offer a unique glimpse into the channel’s past, present and future.

The Legends series is hosted by John Fleming, one of the inaugural Direct Selling Legends Honorees. John’s successful career includes starting as a distributor, becoming an executive and officer at Avon Products, and former Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Direct Selling News for 10 years.

John is a member of the Direct Selling Education Foundation Circle of Honor, the DSA Hall of Fame, was the first recipient of the Direct Selling News Lifetime Achievement Award and recently added author to his list of accomplishments with his book, The Ultimate Gig, a research project on the gig economy.

Born in Germany and the son of a world war two refugee, Rudy and his family escaped after the war and moved to America when Rudy was just 5 years old.

Rudy is also the author of Iron String, The Tumultuous True Story of a Life Affected by War.

Rick Goings is Chairman Emeritus of Tupperware Brands.

During his successful career, Rick held a number of global senior management positions in Europe, Asia, and the US and was an outspoken advocate of redefining business as something that served not only shareholders, but all stakeholders, including customers and employees.

Philanthropy has been a central focus of his career.

He served as an engaged member of the World Economic Forum, The National Board of Governors for Boys & Girls Clubs of America where he also served as Chairman of the Board for many of those years

Rick was an inaugural champion with United Nations He For She Women's Initiative, where he was a founding member of the Leadership Advisory Council.

Jerry Brassfield is the Founder and Chairman of NeoLife International.

Jerry started his career in direct selling at the age of 19, and within eight years grew his net worth to $5 million dollars, an especially hefty sum for 1963.

Jerry is an accomplished entrepreneur with a strong passion for direct selling and helping others cultivate success.

Stan Fredrick is the definition of entrepreneur.

He co-founded Colony House and Colesce Couture, and is owner of Wine Shop at Home and founding partner of Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard.

In 2001, he became a board member at Mannatech and today Stan serves as Chairman of the Board and is the company’s largest individual shareholder.

He has also served as Chairman of the Direct selling Association's Board of Directors and the Direct Selling Education Foundation, Board of Directors.

Stan was also inducted into DSA's hall of fame, DSTS Circle of Honor and received the Direct Selling News Lifetime Achievement award in 2018.
