Why didn't God answer your prayer? Why didn't He open the door? Why didn't He fix what seemed so close to changing?

Those questions have echoed through the hearts of believers for thousands of years.

In Numbers 20:14–21, Israel stood on the edge of the Promised Land. After years of wandering, all they needed was permission to pass through Edom. Instead, they were told, "You shall not pass."

Sometimes God removes the obstacle. Sometimes He doesn't. But when the answer isn't what we hoped for, can we still trust Him?
