How many times have you heard, "I promise," only to be disappointed?
Broken promises leave deep wounds. Whether it's a friend, a family member, a church leader, or even ourselves, trust is difficult to rebuild once it's been broken.
In Numbers 32, two Israelite tribes ask to settle before entering the Promised Land. Moses fears they're abandoning their brothers, but they make a promise: they will fight alongside Israel until everyone receives their inheritance. Their story reminds us that our words matter because they reflect the God we serve.
In this episode, Pastor Jason explores what biblical faithfulness looks like, why keeping our commitments matters, and how God's unwavering faithfulness gives us the strength to do what we promised.
If you've ever struggled with broken trust, unfinished commitments, or wondered how Christians should live with integrity, this message is for you.

For Advent 2020, we have been reflecting on the Advent to come, Christ's second coming. You and I are eagerly anticipating His return, gifted from God an endless supply of hope, peace, and grace until then. And God is patient with us as we learn to rely on Him. This is what we have learned so far. But why? What are we supposed to do with those gift? This Sunday we will examine 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 to uncover the purpose for those other gifts to you and me from God.

Would you be comfortable with your surgeon if they had only played a doctor on TV? Would you trust the food of a skinny cook? Common sense tells us something is up. Why didn't God answer your prayer? Why didn't He open the door? Why didn't He fix what seemed so close to changing?
Those questions have echoed through the hearts of believers for thousands of years.
In Numbers 20:14–21, Israel stood on the edge of the Promised Land. After years of wandering, all they needed was permission to pass through Edom. Instead, they were told, "You shall not pass."
Sometimes God removes the obstacle. Sometimes He doesn't. But when the answer isn't what we hoped for, can we still trust Him?
This sermon explores unanswered prayer, closed doors, disappointment, and the mystery of God's will. If you've ever wondered why God didn't fix your situation, you'll discover that while Scripture doesn't always give us the explanation we want, it always points us to the One who is worthy of our trust.
