There are many, many martial systems around the world! In this episode, we explore Historical European Martial Arts, or HEMA for short. Our guest is Nathan Grepares, Chief Instructor at Sword to Sword HEMA Longsword School in Houston, Texas. Nathan specializes in the Longsword, and trains with a variety of other weapons. Nathan also tells us about how wrestling is utilized in sword fighting!

HEMA is defined as any fighting system from Europe for which a book exists on how to do it. The book - or training manual - must be a manuscript about how you fight with a particular thing (weapon).
