About The DisasterCast
From the publisher's feed
From bars in the Valleys of Wales with 20 people in attendance to sharing stages with KISS, members of Whitesnake, Rainbow, Tyketto and many more, this podcast documents the steady rise of one of…
the UK's best up-and-coming unsigned and TRULY independent bands.
You'll hear all the stories from the road, including tales of cancelled tours, misogyny, and violence twinned with hilarious escapades, drunk bets, and lots of falling over. Plus a peek behind the curtain as to what being an independent band in the 21st century looks like, with show and tour planning, accounts, tax, marketing, all done in-house.
If you've ever wondered what it's like for a woman to navigate the male-dominated world of music, this might give you a small insight.
