  • Episode 10: Legal Plunder

The legal mechanisms that purport to prevent misogyny can actually be the vehicle for it. Our society has built an institution to harm (not help) victims of violence and our carceral approach to violence ensures that the neoliberal state gains financially from cycles of violence. I discuss what I have come to think of as 'legal plunder' with my mother Kristy.

  • Episode 7: They Pathologize

I have been trying to raise awareness about racism, sexism, surveillance, and harassment in Tucson, Arizona. The reaction? On March 26, 2025 Detective Thé from the Tucson Police Department got an email from the Police Auditor, Mitchell Kagen. The police auditor forwarded emails written by me that he had received from the City Manager, Tim Thomure. The police auditor sent a quick overview explaining that I complained to the office of professional standards, that the investigation was closed and he falsely stated that I was upset by the investigation. Detective Thé came to my home on Monday, April 14th, 2025. This is the recording of our subsequent conversation.

  • Episode 3: Call taker Gamez (#47295)

For this episode, I talk to call taker Gamez (#47295). I spoke to Gamez on the phone twice. The first time I called 911 at around 6:30 am, Gamez picked up. I reported a neighbor and license plate. During the call, Gamez called me by my middle name even though I had not given him my name. I called 911 again at 11:16 am. Gamez again answered the call and so I asked him for his name and badge number. He seemed reluctant to share this information. I have concerns about my safety because Gamez seems to know who I am even though I have never shared my middle name with him and do not know him.
