  • Episode 67: Top 10 Metal Songs of 2025 with Honorable Mentions

On Episode 67 of the Distorted Dialogue Podcast, we countdown the Top 10 Metal Songs of 2025, with 5 more honorable mentions that missed the cut. A dynamic list, with a number 1 I am sure no one had on their list of top songs. From Thrash Metal to Death Metal, Doom, Psych and Stoner this is one diverse list where the only requirement, was the song had to kick ass. I based these rankings strictly off of the streaming stats of how many times I kept going back to the same riffs. Some bands I listened to the promos, more than the streams, and several of these I own the record too, and caught them live, which I didn't account for in the rankings. With more than a few bad ass singles released last year, what were some of yours? What did I miss? What song kept you coming back for more? Let me know in the comments, as I am always looking for more heavy! 🤘

  • Episode 64: Morbid and Miserable's Brandon Collins

On Episode 64 of the Distorted Dialogue Podcast, I sit down with Brandon Collins, one of the founders from Morbid and Miserable, alongside Jason Wilcox, run the label, run the distribution and work with some of the premier up and coming bands from punk, metal and anything else heavy. With a stacked label featuring bands like Bloodletter, Bastard Cross, and so many other killer bands. Working in collaboration with other record labels, like Wiseblood and Pagan Fury, Morbid and Miserable seem to be putting out banger album after banger album. We talk about what makes them a great label, some of the upcoming releases like the new Nighnacht album, Lord Centipede and more. I had such a great time talking to Brandon, finally being able to put a friendly face with the name. It's nice to talk too someone who is as passionate about metal as I am, and even cooler when you get to learn about the things you love. So thanks to Brandon for stopping by and educating me on what it takes to make it happen. If you haven't heard of  @morbidandmiserable  , PLEASE go check them out. A phenomenal label with amazing bands, I'm so appreciative that Brandon took time out of his hectic schedule to talk. Where I interview each guest, getting to the bottom of what you want to know. Wether it’s a Headlining Act from the other side of the world or a thrash band next to a river, I am always searching for the next riff, album or tour, and this is where to find out about it. Discussing topics such as new albums, inspirations, concerts, crazy road stories and wherever else the conversation takes us. Don’t think of this as a rapid fire, monotone filler, but rather a conversation where we can all learn about albums, tours and more, while laughing along the way Some keep coming back, so find out why! I don’t just interview musicians, but techs, label executives, industry attorneys and anything else that is metal as hell. Why limit the fun? Date Recorded: 12/31/2025

🎧On Episode 63, The YEAR END BONUS EDITION, where I rank the top metal albums of this past year, and even give a few honorable mentions too. 2025 was an absolute amazing year for metal releases.
