On this week’s episode of the Dive-In, co-host’s Hayden Koutras & Wesley Giffen are talking a couple of new releases as they head into the Summer movie season, but first, they get into some news, including the growing cast of A-List talent joining the upcoming Knives Out sequel, the trailer for Snake Eyes, a G.I. Joe spin-off that looks surprisingly entertaining, & in a moment of pure nostalgia, talk about the Icarly reboot arriving on Paramount+ on June 17th.
The boys then get into Taylor Sheridan’s new action film ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead’ and talk seeing Angelina Jolie on the big (or small) screen again, how this movie feels like a throwback to 90’s blockbusters, & Hayden discusses why Taylor Sheridan is one of the best Action screenwriters even when he swings and misses.
They then talk the new Netflix release starring Amy Adams, ‘The Woman in the Window’ and get into it’s much delayed release due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the effective usage of Agoraphobia to trap the audience with our lead character, the massive supporting cast and who stands out, why they feel this movie falls apart in it’s third act, & Amy Adam’s ability to make a mediocre movie stand out.
