As we draw close to the end of 2020, co-hosts Hayden Koutras & Wesley Giffen kick off this week's episode talking about Sucker Punch's open world samurai video game 'Ghost of Tsushima', before diving into The Mandalorian Season 2 and talk how united and satisfied it's left the Star Wars fanbase, where the series could go from here, and that FINAL scene and all of our thoughts on it.

The boys continue on to the newly released Netflix film 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' and it's remarkable performances led by Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman, how well it makes the transition from a play to film, some of the film's deeper meanings,  and the film's highly likely Oscar nominations.

The boys kick the episode off with a discussion about Warner Brothers shifting their release slate for 2021 to HBO Max before diving into 2017’s ‘Better Watch Out’ and how it is essentially a demented ‘Home Alone’, as well as Bob Clark’s 1974 Christmas slasher ‘Black Christmas’ and how it served to create the Slasher genre as we know it today.

The boys kick off the episode with a discussion about the 1941 classic 'Citizen Kane' and their first experiences watching it after hearing about it for so long, before we Dive-In to 'Mank' and it's fantastic recreation of Old Hollywood, the age old argument of who really wrote the screenplay for Citizen Kane that this movie examines, the Oscar's potential that this movie holds for the 2021 Ceremony, The stand-out performances from Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried, plus much more!

This week on The Dive-In Moviecast, Co-host's Hayden Koutras & Wesley Giffen are taking another trip to their childhood to talk the much beloved 'Scooby Doo' franchise!

They start the episode off with a rather unfocused discussion about Children's Television and some of their particular favorite shows growing up as well as A comedic discussion about Theme Parks before diving into Scooby Doo with a Top 5 of the best Scooby Doo Video On Demand animated films, the Live Action films and why growing up loving them makes them so hard to hate, and Hayden then ends the discussion off by explaining why 2020's Scoob! completely fails the franchise and misses the point about what we've always loved.

We end off the the episode with Wesley talking about the 2020 reboot of Warner Brother's Animaniacs.
