Another episode, another guest (about time right?), and another missed opportunity for serious, thoughtful discussion. It was all looking so promising! But then again, did you really expect anything else?
Darcy Hopkins was born in Sydney in the spring of 2002. Since then, he has learned to walk, and has ventured far from his hometown. His achievements include perfecting the art of modesty, circumnavigating the globe singlehandedly, and inventing a new breed of dog. In 2008, he revolutionised modern art with his 21st century interpretation of the wheel, and in 2012 revealed to the world that he is actually Banksy. After a brief stint acting as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's stuntman, Darcy finally settled upon a career as a shoelace decorator and part-time shell collector. Finally, he is ready to tell his story to the world in podcast form.
We're back, although still not fit to run a village post office.
Three episodes in and Mack & Darc are back where they started - just the two of them sitting down for a quick chat. Well, it's a bit more than that. Darcy has yet another gripe, and Mack tackles the big ethical questions head first.
* Soz everyone, the recording of this episode didn't quite go to plan (aka we had technical difficulties). It's still listenable (hopefully) but we apologize for the poor audio quality. So yeah, sorry about that.
Our first (technically second) episode is a big one! For the first time we're joined by a guest, who enlightens us as they discuss their calling to an obscure new religion. Darcy has another gripe this week, this time it's about bringing dogs to school or work. Conversation then gets a bit Ugg-ly, as the team tackle the social etiquette of wearing Ugg boots and socks with sandals in public. On a more serious note, Mack explains the importance of having the right attitude on R U OK? Day.
In this introductory episode, your hosts, Mack and Darcy, welcome you to their new podcast. Of course, irrelevant banter ensues. Tune in to hear Darcy explain why we should be allowed our school formal, Mack discuss his weird dream about phone numbers, and that age old debate - which is the best flavor of milk?
