    Episode 144 | Zack Tchoubfong
    Good Counsel High School
    Originally Recorded: July 2, 2026

The Capitol Hoops Summer League Championship is set, and this one comes with a little extra family bragging rights on the line.

Fresh off Good Counsel's semifinal victory over Takoma Academy, Zack Tchoubfong joins Kurt & Chelsie with the Falcons officially headed to the CHSL Championship Game, where they'll meet The Bullis School in a winner-take-all showdown.

The matchup gives us plenty to talk about. It's WCAC vs. IAC, Good Counsel vs. Bullis... and, perhaps most importantly, brother vs. brother, as Zack prepares to square off against his brother Israel Tchoubfong with the Summer League championship on the line.

Zack talks about the Falcons' journey through the summer, their semifinal win over Takoma Academy and what it will take to finish the job in the championship game. We also have some fun with the Tchoubfong family matchup and what it means to compete against your own brother with summer supremacy and family bragging rights at stake.

Two brothers. Two schools. Two conferences. One CHSL Championship.

    The Bullis School
    Originally Recorded: July 2, 2026

Fresh off a Capitol Hoops Summer League semifinal victory over DeMatha, Israel Tchoubfong of The Bullis School joins Kurt & Chelsie with the Bulldogs headed to the CHSL Championship Game.

An accomplished player and an important piece of the Bullis program, Israel talks about the team's impressive summer, what has fueled their run through the Capitol Hoops Summer League, and the mindset following a big semifinal win over one of the DMV's most storied programs.

We also look ahead to the championship game and discuss how the work put in during June and July can help set the tone for Bullis when the high school season arrives.

And, of course, we couldn't let Israel leave without settling one of the more important debates of the summer: Who wins one-on-one — Israel or his Zack? The answer leads to a little family trash talk and plenty of fun.

From a big playoff victory to championship expectations and a little sibling rivalry, it's another conversation from the heart of the Capitol Hoops Summer League.
