After Crute had a bit more of that bacon jam he mentioned yesterday, he decided to step on the scale this morning. His prognosis? That scale is rigged.

Anyways, Trump is meeting with European authoritarians again, this time inviting Hungry's Viktor Orban. Dom has a Q-Anon-style theory that Trump mayyyy just be selling over some of those files he had sitting around his bathroom. I mean, the guy does seem to need the cash. Maybe Orban got to meet Trump Employee #5, who says they unknowingly moved classified documents...

Meanwhile, it seems like some legacy politicos with the Republican party may be in need of a job, as Trump crony's gut the RNC team. Guess they're just looking for more of those "cyber ninjas" who can protect our election integrity...

Robert Hurr testifies before Congress today, and as it turns out, Biden's memory is fine. You know it's bad when both Republicans AND Democrats are mad at you. Dems are mad that he's a partisan trying to throw the election for Trump, Republicans are mad that he's a deep stage stooge. Maybe he shouldn't have left the Justice Department, it doesn't seem like he has many friends left.

Aaron Rodgers is going back on his comments that he'd never get into politics, as he's RFK Jrs. top choice for a running mate. Guess we should have paid more attention to those Pat McAfee interviews... Hey, at least they can do Ivermectin together on the campaign trail.

Another Republican is leaving Congress. This time, it's Ken Buck from Colorado. That means that Republican's stranglehold over Congress has shrunk even more. Speaker Jefferies when?

Crute had an exciting weekend making bacon jam (and shares a bit of his recipe), and is very passionate that if someone's going to enjoy his delectable bites, they better SAVOR it.

Biden, though, is advertising a major economic plan for the next decade, calling for expanded social programs and raised taxes on the rich. Eat the rich, Crute says! Yes, it is a mighty big budget, but we'd get free preschool, tax breaks for first time homebuyers, and more. How would we pay for it? Taxing the rich, of course. About time someone called for that...

But Biden can only control, at most, the next four years. And his budget looks to reduce the country's debt by $2 trillion in a decade. When it's an election year, Crute has to ask - why not put forward a reasonable, balanced budget that Republicans can't cut to shreds?

Closer to home, it seems the far-rightys who are trying to get rid of Robin Vos have enough signatures to force a recall election. Crute celebrates the move, anything to get rid of that guy! He's been the number one barrier to Wisconsin Democrats getting anything done for years. But Dom's a bit more skeptical. I mean, once he's gone, who's going to take his place?

Dom and Crute continue to listen to a bit of Joe Biden's State of the Union last night. Yes, Dom fell asleep, but not because of the speech! It's because of his tequila-laden lifestyle.

One thing that definetly kept Crute awake all night was Senator Britt's Republican response. We hear a bit of what she had to say, and I've got just one word: weird. Breathy. Melodramatic. Weird.

Finally, Dom's going to heading to Ireland later this month. Let's hope that he isn't mistaken for a leprechaun and get's assaulted over his lucky charms...

Joe Biden had a great night last night with his State of the Union last night. The best part? How annoyed Republicans were throughout the speech! We even got a (possibly) drunk Van Orden yelling at the President! At least he's consistent with yelling at people at the Capitol...

While Biden did great, Republican Katie Britt did... less great with the Republican response. She was weird, breathy, not able to deliver a message. At least Trump loved it! Even if he's alone in that thought, even among fellow Trumpers.

But the event, as a whole, was full of fun times. George Santos even made an appearance! But while the CJs of the world would say he was there to divide-and-conquer, that isn't true. Biden both attacked the MAGA extremists while affirming he was there to represent all of America.
