Last night, President Joe Biden delivered an excellent State of the Union address. However, our local Wisconsin drunkard Derrick Van Orden didn't think so, shouting out to interrupt the speech. Was he drunk at the time? Crute thinks so. There's certainly precedent of Van Orden being an angry drunk.

And what about Stormy Daniels? Yes, it's salacious, but it might also be enough to be the one to take down Trump. There's been several "moments" to take down Trump, including with the Stormy Daniels Case. Can this be the one that actually does it?

Tonight is the State of the Union, and while Joe Biden is giving one of the most important speeches of his life, Dom's skipping it. Those concerts aren't going to themselves! Speaker Mike Johnson is calling for decorum from his party, and if there's one thing that Republicans are good at, it's being respectful. (Right...)

Three-toed Marge is already planning on yelling during the speech, as she is known to do during these events. But the real questions is, how many Republicans will yell out during the speech? If we were to make it a drinking game, how much trouble would be be in?

Kamala Harris was in Madison today, and Crute got to be in the room with her! She was doing some politicking at the Dem Party Headquarters just blocks from the Civic Media headquarters. Did you know that she grew up in Madison? She did! Right next to one of the lakes, not clear which one.

Ron Johnson is in the news again today. Every time he's in the news lately, it's never for something good... Remember when RoJo said that his involvement with the false elector scheme was mere seconds? Well, new records show that that isn't true. RoJo lie? Really??? He even helped Jim Troupis prepare his talk before Congress while Troupis was deep in his scheming... Ron Johnson knew a full MONTH before January 6th what the plan was.

Firebrand, pundit, and recently-married man Scot Ross joins the Devils to break down the Super Tuesday results. Haley is out! Phillips is out! 2020 part two is on! Ross has it all covered, and even makes us remember that terrible Scott Walker...

On the Biden front, Ross says that Wisconsin should be a slam dunk for the President. Biden has been winning races in Wisconsin that he's not even in, with Evers and Protasiewicz, so when he's actually on the ballot in November, it should be no problem. He just has to actually listen to the people protesting his handling of Israel/Gaza, like the ones who were in Madison today protesting Kamala Harris.

But the big news today - Super Tuesday! Steve Kornacki helped Crute figure out what was happening last night, and he has just one thing to say about his broadcast: where's the khakis?? But Biden lost American Samoa to some nobody! Jason Palmer is the guy, and hey, at least he got on MSNBC! But the Dean Phillips and Nikki Haley experiments are over, to nobody's surprise. At least Phillips endorsed Biden on the way out, and Haley didn't endorse anyone.

Do we enjoy having to read a Charlie Sykes piece? No, but he makes a good point this week. Donald Trump is probably the luckiest politician alive. How else would he be able to stick around without getting into trouble for this long?

Dom's got some major objections though. I mean, the guy was flying clear under the radar until he decided to run for president, and what's happened since then? Something something 91 federal indictments?

Then - Trickle Down Economics. Does it work? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Crute has an answer: of course it doesn't. Don't tell that to Scott Walker though, he and other Republicans are still clinging to dear life to the misbelief that trickle down economics helps the poor, and not just gives huge tax cuts to the rich.

It's Super Tuesday, and scores of states are heading to the polls today to vote for their pick for who will represent their party in the November election. Mostly voting for either Biden or Trump. But before we can get to Super Tuesday, Dom and Crute, (and the state of Arizona) have reason to celebrate: Kyrsten Sinema is dropping out!

Meanwhile, Republicans have some breaking news about former First Lady Michelle Obama. She is NOT running for President! Almost as if just being married to the President doesn't make you qualified enough to actually BE the President.
