This deceitful tactic is often employed as a strategy to maintain and attract followers, ensuring the continuation of their influence and control within their congregations. By creating the illusion of divine intervention, they aim to reinforce their authority and validate their spiritual leadership, even in the absence of genuine manifestations of faith.
