Today’s reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke. (10:38-42; 11:27-28)

Theotokos reflects the light of her son, the son of righteousness. We should all feel so blessed and so full of joy to be able to celebrate this incredible feast of the Mother of God falling asleep, her dormition. Where the door passed through the door of this life into eternity. Where today the throne of God assents to the throne of God. What more is there to say to her than rejoice!
