Genesis chapter 34 tells the story of Dinah; she is Jacob and Leah’s only daughter, and one day, while she is in town visiting some of her friends, she gets raped by a young prince.

The story lets us know that it wasn’t her fault:

• She hadn’t put herself in a poor situation.

• She hadn’t done anything to entice the young man.

• She had gone into town to visit some of her friends.

This conversation is so meaningful because this isn’t just a random story that happened to a girl long ago.

How good are you at having hard conversations? How good are you at confronting someone who has wronged you? How do you approach someone who has intentionally hurt you and tried to derail your life? What do you do when you accidentally run into someone who really, really, really dislikes you?
