What if the year that looks quiet from the outside is actually the year that changes everything?
In this episode of Mind Redesign: The Dr. Blass Podcast, I’m taking you behind the scenes of what this season of entrepreneurship has actually looked like for me.
After selling my previous app, I did something entrepreneurs sometimes struggle to give themselves permission to do: I allowed myself to live.
I rested. I enjoyed my family. I gave. I enjoyed some of what I had earned. And then I began reinvesting—not simply into another business, but into the person and infrastructure required for what I want to build next.
I invested further into my education. I spent months working through intellectual property, trademarks, proprietary systems, contracts, research, and the foundation for NACIA and the Mind Twin.
In many ways, 2026 became the year I started building 2027.
In this episode, we talk about:
- Why every year doesn't need to be a harvesting year
- The difference between slowing down and strategically repositioning
- Why entrepreneurs need guardrails around their own ambition
- How discipline can quietly become chronic urgency
- Why burnout should not be treated as evidence of commitment
- Knowing when to rest—and knowing when you've rested long enough
- Preparing for where you're going instead of only responding to where you are
- Why your mind and nervous system are part of your company's infrastructure
I'm also sharing what I'm learning as I build NACIA in real time—the decisions, pivots, preparation, psychology, and evolution behind creating technology designed to help people understand and redesign the patterns influencing how they think, behave, and execute.
This new chapter of the podcast is going behind the scenes with me.
We're talking business. Technology. Psychology. Money. Health. Relationships. Identity. Entrepreneurship. And what happens internally when you decide to build something bigger than what you've built before.

Because sometimes the most important work you're doing isn't producing today's result.
It's building the person—and the infrastructure—capable of holding what's coming next.
