On this episode I am joined with internationally known worship band, FlyFaith, to talk about, well, worship. Liza, Cynthia, and Sarah Beth give their insight into what worship is according to the Bible, some common misconceptions about worship in our world today, and some personal ways that God has drawn them closer to Himself through different acts of worship. We had way too much fun recording together so this is a two part episode. Enjoy part one and stay tuned for part two!

On this episode we're looking at the different types of false teachers in our world today. Starting with The Heretic, we're going to unpack the ways that these types of false teachers deceive and mislead the Church.
When I reference Philippians at around the 13 minute mark I say "Philippians 3:14" the correct reference is Philippians 4:13

This is the first episode for our series on false teachers and some of the more subtle and "popular" false teachings that lurk in our world waiting to pounce. We're going to be looking at the ways the Bible helps us to identify False Teachers and their teachings so that we're better equipped to discern and defend against them. Lots of research is going into this series because I believe that it's important make sure I know what's really being consistently taught by someone before I call them a false teacher. Always remember that I welcome your feedback and questions! Fear not theology, friends!
Shout out to The Princess Bride for a quote that captures this series so perfectly!

On this episode we're starting a new segment (or series) of reading through the book of Psalms in 30 days. Did you know that if you read just 5 Psalms each day that you will read through the entire book in one month? That's so cool, right? And that's exactly what we're going to do in this series. Read along if you're able and get ready to see what the beautiful book of Psalms has to offer us!
Be sure and listen to every episode! As we get closer to the launch date for my Kickstarter I'll be doing some fun giveaways. But you won't know how to win if you don't listen!

Is there really a biblical reason to believe in Creationism (God creating the world according to Genesis 1) or is it okay for Christians to adopt Evolution as our belief? In this episode we look at how to Bible speaks about creation, what it means if humans have a Creator, what is and isn't true about Evolution, and what the logical conclusions are for both beliefs.
***At around the 20 minute mark I get my terms mixed up.
Microevolution, what takes places on a small scale within a specific species and aides in adaption I DO agree with.
Macroevolution, what is said to take place on a large scale and leads to one species becoming a completely different species, I DO NOT agree with.
