In hour 2 of The Drive, Zach and Phil debate if the Broncos will take a step up or back this season. Is there a scenario where the Broncos are better but win less games? Will we see a “sophomore slump” from Bo Nix? Will the Broncos defense and special teams be able to repeat their success from the 2024 season? Today’s “Three Count” includes the viewership from the Canada and USA hockey game from Saturday, Netflix trying to buy a package of Sunday afternoon games from CBS or Fox, and the Bengals trying to re-sign their major players in Jamar Chase, Trey Hendrickson, and Tee Higgins. It’s a “hot take Tuesday” and Zach is predicting Avalanche GM, Chris MacFarland to win the NHL’s GM of the year. Will Kris Bryant have his best season as a member of the Rockies?

In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach and Phil debate if bringing Von Miller back to the Broncos would make sense. Would Von be a good influence on the young pass rushers of the Broncos? Would Von ruin the “organic” build of the Broncos team under Sean Payton? If the guys could have their dream offseason for the Broncos, what does that include? Which skill position players would the guys want to bring in to take this Broncos team to the next level? What did the guys make of the NBA All-Star weekend and the reshaped “game”? It’s a “hot take Tuesday” and Zach is predicting that Avalanche GM, Chris MacFarland will win the GM of the year in the NHL. We wrap up the show with what the guys learned in sports over the long weekend. How can the NBA bring excitement to their All-Star weekend, the way the NHL has done?

Should the Broncos be interested in trading for a game changer in Myles Garrett? Today’s “Three Count” features the resurfacing of the Richie Incognito bullying story, the timing of Lebron James pulling out of the All-Star game, and the Colorado Buffaloes as well as local players invited to the NFL combine.

The conversation changes to how often the guys wash their jeans and other clothes. We have breaking news as Darren Rizzi, former interim Saints head coach, will be the next special teams coordinator for the Broncos. Will Rizzi be able to keep the Broncos top 10 special teams unit? Zach and Phil react to the NBA straw-poll for the league MVP, where did Jokic rank on the poll? Will Jokic be able to close the gap and win his fourth MVP? After the slow start for the Nuggets will they be able to close the gap to the number one seed in the west, Oklahoma City Thunder?

In hour 2 of The Drive, Zach and Phil debate if they would trade Bo Nix for the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Are there any position players currently in the NFL would the guys trade for Bo Nix? How many quarterbacks in the NFL would the guys trade for Bo Nix? 9News Broncos insider, Mike Klis joins the show to discuss how many players in the NFL he would trade Bo Nix for, how the Broncos will operate with Courtland Sutton entering the final year of his contract, and how often Mike washes his jeans. Today’s “Three Count” features a race between Tyreek Hill and Olympian sprinter Noah Lyles, Carmello Anthony joining the NBC NBA broadcasting crew, and the backstory to Zach’s question on how many times he wears jeans before washing them. The NBA All-Star weekend kicks off tonight and Zach fills us in on all the events.
