DMac dives into trade scenarios involving Patrick Peterson, and Big Al thinks Peterson is just too good for the Cardinals to give up & would cost the Broncos too much in return.

The guys are disappointed that Aqib Talib will no longer be playing against the Broncos when the LA Rams come to Denver, due to surgery on his ankle. Big Al tells DMac Talib was always one of his favorite players.

Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post joins the show to talk about how Jon Gray is feeling after his last start, and Patrick says the Rockies will do anything to see Gray realize his full potential. Patrick agrees with DMac that starting Adam Ottavino seems compelling, and Al wants to know if Kyle Freeland should receive Cy Young consideration.

DMac gets into the Chad Kelly morning show beef with Case Keenum, and opening our minds to starting a different QB than Keenum here in Denver. DMac says any argument for another QB besides Keenum is dumb & all the chips are on the table.

The guys begin the final hour by DMac asking Al if it’s time for the Broncos to bench Garett Bolles. Big Al said that Von Miller would have had six sacks last game if he was going up against Bolles. Al also explains why Case Keenum didn’t have a good game yesterday. With Keenum getting paid, shouldn’t he just go out and play and not worry about anything else? The guys tell each other who the most confident players they’ve ever been around. Does Case Keenum have the excitement for the Broncos in the 4th quarter?

Big Al thought Demaryius Thomas & Emmanuel Sanders were outstanding, as well as the Broncos’ Special Teams. DMac has had enough of Isaac Yiadom already, and Big Al takes a look at Yiadom as our new punt returner.

Big Al says a dome would have helped Case Keenum out yesterday, and DMac reviews Keenum’s biggest mistakes on Sunday. Big Al is concerned about the weather affecting Keenum’s delivery in games later this year, and DMac points out Big Al’s issues are ‘unsolvable’ with no controlled environment.

Al says the players don’t care about turnovers & interceptions, and DMac says Case Keenum needs to ‘blame it on the rain.’

Troy Renck of Denver 7 joins the show to talk about Todd Davis & the defense becoming mentally tough, and Big Al asks Troy if he’s concerned about Case Keenum’s struggles in the weather. Troy says the weather wasn’t even a factor in the second half, and Keenum simply looked rattled.

Al agrees with DMac this loss to Baltimore will be the Broncos’ toughest road test all season, and Al says some comments he read over the weekend disturbed him. DMac thinks this would have been the perfect week to get Emmanuel Sanders the ball early & often, and Big Al is impressed by Justin Simmons.

Adam Schefter joins the show to talk about the Broncos’ secondary & if a trade for Patrick Peterson could be in the works. Adam asks DMac what other corners are available for the Broncos to trade for, and notes that the storyline in Denver after three weeks this season is similar to last year, but it’s about CB instead of QB. Also, Big Al finally gets a chance to read Schefter’s book, and Schefter says the Tampa Bay Bucs are for real, for now.

In the Big 3, Big Al thinks he’s found the best young QBs in the NFL in Jared Goff & Pat Mahomes, and wonders if drafting Mahomes was simply the ‘luck of the draw’ for Andy Reid & the Chiefs. Also, DMac mentions the great weekend in Arizona for the Rockies, and Al talks about Jon Gray’s development as a pitcher.

The guys talk about the Domata Peko play, and how to avoid ‘stupid’ mistakes. Big Al reviews the dangers of jumping into the pile, and notes that this is a new rule for most. DMac is concerned about Phillip Lindsay’s discipline, and Big Al goes over some things that would have helped Case Keenum, like a dome. Also, Al says the Broncos’ Special Teams were ‘off the chain.’

The boys get into their King Soopers Fan Football Pick ‘Em, and Big Al says beware of Tyreek Hill & Jimmy G. DMac points out that he and Al agree on every pick but one, and that’s the Broncos vs Ravens game. Al notices how outstanding the Broncos have been on third down, and is afraid of the Ravens’ average PPG.

Troy Renck with Denver 7 joins the show to talk about Jared Veldheer being cleared to play after his concussion, and Josey Jewell stepping up in case Brandon Marshall is hobbled. Al asks Troy if we will see more of Vance Joseph’s style of coaching, and Troy says there’s no way we will see press coverage on the Ravens’ receivers the whole game.

Big Al & DMac get everybody fired up for the Broncos vs Ravens game in Week 3, and the fans respond on the hotline. We hear highlights of the Broncos defense, and Al expects some sacks to come on Sunday. Also, Al expects a big day from the Broncos playmakers in Baltimore. Also, Dmac plays a game of Over/Under with Big Al regarding Case Keenum’s yards passing & Phillip Lindsay’s yards rushing.

The guys talk about things being different in the 2018 NFL Draft, and DMac plays some audio of Mike Evans talking about the quarterbacks in the draft being a disaster. Big Al is worried about trick plays with Lamar Jackson after the Ravens had ten days of preparation for the Broncos game on Sunday.

DMac mentions what an important series this is for the Colorado Rockies as they prepare to take on the Diamondbacks in Arizona, and Big Al is ready to party as we head into the fall season.

Big Al says the Cleveland Browns will be fighting for the AFC North division lead all year, and DMac thinks Sam Darnold will be just fine & is simply a lot younger than Baker Mayfield. The guys agree there's no debating Mayfield's talent, and Baker is now the hero in Cleveland with accurate passing. Also, DMac explains the 'Chubbaholic' mentality & why Mike Evans is petty, and says it might be the best QB class since '83.

In the Big 3, DMac asks Big Al if Chad Kelly is the Broncos’ version of Baker Mayfield, and Big Al wonders what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to do with Ryan Fitzpatrick & Jameis Winston. Also, Big Al says Pete Carroll & Mike McCoy might be the first coaches fired.

Big Al talks about Brent Musberger’s Vegas gambling advantage, and we hear from Baker Mayfield regarding the Browns’ building blocks. Also, DMac explains to Al why Case Keenum is like Rudy & Von Miller is like a summer blockbuster.

AL & Dmac continue their argument about whether or not John Elway is a terrible GM compared to Ozzie Newsome. Al thinks the coach matters more, and DMac argues that anyone could have coached Peyton Manning & Elway deserves no credit.

The guys get their King Soopers Fan Football Pick ‘Em started, and DMac checks in with former Broncos GM Brian Xanders. Both Al & DMac pick the Cleveland Browns over the NY Jets, and DMac mentions Browns reporter Nathan Zegura’s suspension for screaming at an official.

The guys talk about the NY Jets game tonight against the Cleveland Browns, and DMac mentions the blunder by the Browns’ kicker last week against the Saints. Also, the Broncos kicker storyline involving Matt Prater & Brandon McManus.

The guys go over injury concerns ahead of the Ravens game, including Adam ‘PacMan’ Jones & Brandon Marshall. Big Al says the Ravens don’t have a Top-5 player on their roster anywhere, and DMac is crazy to think PacMan Jones isn’t the Broncos third-best corner.

Former Ravens Tight End Dennis Pitta joins the show to talk about the Ravens’ TEs matching up against the Broncos’ linebackers. Pitta notes the biggest noticeable differences in the Ravens’ offense this year, and Al asks about the TEs Baltimore drafted this year. Also, DMac asks Pitta about the latest with Joe Flacco & Lamar Jackson.

We hear audio from big Red Sox supporters that found a banner from their divisional win, and want playoffs tickets in exchange for the banner.
