The Droid Life Show

On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we want to talk more about the Galaxy S9 and S9+ now that they are readily available at your local wireless shop. We've had each phone for over a week, but that means we have new thoughts on whether or not this phone is a keeper.

After that, we'll dive into Android Wear dropping the "Android" part of its name and switching to Wear OS, followed by the latest in G7 and U12 rumors, some Google Home updates worth noting, and other various device announcements.

Oh, you want trivia gain? We've got trivia again!

On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we're running through the week's biggest news - the first developer preview of Android P. It's hard to believe that we're already talking about another new version of Android, but that's where we are and it is glorious. Along with the release of Android P, we finally have a Galaxy S9 in house and will share our first thoughts on it. 

After those two biggies, it's onto the Huawei Notch20 line-up, Essential's next design change, HTC U12's specs, Fortnite to mobile, and then some trivia. Yep, trivia is back for the second week in a row!

On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we're recapping all of the big news out of MWC 2018, like the Galaxy S9, Sony's Xperia XZ2 line, ASUS' iPhone X clone, and 5G happenings.

We'll also run through our first impressions of Google Clips, review of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, what we think looks interesting about Google I/O 2018's recently released schedule, and talk about improvements to the Essential Phone's camera. 

As a bonus, we're also going to try and start working some trivia into each show for live listeners. We'll start today and see how it goes, because the goal is to handout prizes to those who participate.

From Android Messages possibly turning into Android's iMessage to Pixel Visual Core going live to Google working on a game streaming service, the company behind Android is busy.

Outside of that news, we'll catch you up on LG's next phone, HTC's U12, 5G pricing and news, and discuss whether or not anyone uses Instagram still. It'll be a packed show!

On this final Droid Life Show of 2017, we're running through another great year in Android. This may not be a day-by-day recap, but we'd love to talk about the big stories that stood out, preview CES a bit more, and even attempt to make a couple of 2018 predictions.
