On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we return after weeks away in this wild new world we all live in. Things have changed for the foreseeable future for so many of us, but that doesn't mean we can't bring you this show. So here we are, back again, ready to just talk.
We have a lot to talk about too. Pixel 5. Galaxy S20 reviews. OnePlus 8. LG V60. Android 11. And yes, coronavirus-related items. Join us because we miss you all.
Trivia is back!
On this episode of the DL Show, we're talking through the surprise drop of Android 11 on the world. Even if it is a developer preview and not meant for everyone, there is quite a bit of new stuff to cover and look forward to.
We've also had the Galaxy Z Flip in house for a week, so if you are curious about Samsung's flip phone, Tim has you covered. From there, it'll be on to Galaxy S20 pre-orders, Stadia on more phones, and the massive hack of Slickwraps.
Trivia is back!
On this episode of the DL Show, we'll recap the Samsung Unpacked event that featured the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Buds, and more. Tim was on-hand to go hands-on with all devices and has plenty to share from that experience.
Outside of major Samsung talk, our Motorola Razr review is there for consumption too, Essential is no longer a company, T-Mobile and Sprint are closer than ever to merging, and MWC 2020 is dead. This should be a hot and heavy show.
Sorry, guys, no trivia this week. We're taking this one off.
On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we're talking Motorola Razr because the icon launched again this week and we have one to test. The $1500 folding flip phone is here, guys! Is it cool, awful, overpriced, or worth buying? We have early thoughts on all of that that probably won't surprise you.
We also have plans to catch-up on the last bits of Galaxy S20 info before next week's launch event, February's Android patch, the next flagship phones from Motorola, Tim's Pixel 5 wishlist, and more. We might even say goodbye to Blackberry once again.
Trivia will be back too. Prepare to win stuff.
On this episode of the DL Show, we'll catch up on the latest in Samsung rumors and leaks. The Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip are everywhere right now with February 11 quickly approaching.
After all the Samsung fun, we probably need to feel bad for the Motorola Razr (pre-orders open!), talk about OnePlus entering the world of wireless charging, fresh availability of the new SHIELD Remote, and how Sonos royally f*cked up.
Trivia will be back too. Prepare to win stuff.
Welcome to 2020!
On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we're catching up after an end-of-year break by diving headfirst into CES, the January Android patch, and when the Galaxy S11 (S20?) will be announced. We'll catch you up on our time at CES this week, favorite products from the show, and how Sonos almost stole the spotlight by suing Google. CES, always a somewhat-fun time.
Oh yeah, we also donated a really nice chunk of cash to the Cancer Research Institute, thanks to all of your generous contributions. Hell yeah.
Trivia will be back too. Prepare to win stuff.
On this special episode of the DL Show, well, we're just celebrating. That's all we plan to do.
Droid Life is now 10 years old, so to thank you for all of your support over this past decade together, we're hosting a trivia-only show. I know that we do trivia on every DL Show, but this time we have over 30 prizes to giveaway to all of you fine folks that have hung out with us during this long, wild journey.
Prepare to win fun stuff.
Also, a big shoutout to all of the companies supporting this special day, including NVIDIA, Aukey, MEATER, Razer, and iFixit. You people are all wonderful.
On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we'll do our best to help you survive the slow holiday news season by talking about Google releasing the first ever "Pixel Feature Drop" and what it includes, how many Galaxy Fold units Samsung really sold, how much RCS has changed our lives, and more.
We also reviewed the Nest WiFi and Lenovo Smart Display 7 this week, for those looking to beef up their smart homes. We'll tell you if either is worth buying.
Trivia is back at the end of the show as usual.
On this episode of the Droid Life Show, after a few week break for the holiday shopping season, we're back to talk about Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 and how much closer to 5G we are. Not 5G in the sense that it'll be meaningful, but 5G in the sense that you'll have a phone capable of connecting to 5G whether anyone is ready or not.
We'll also dive into T-Mobile and AT&T's new 5G networks, Motorola re-joining the premium realm, the December Android patch, Galaxy S11 renders, and more!
Trivia is back at the end of the show as usual.
On this episode of the Droid Life Show, it's Motorola Razr reaction time! The old classic is back in a new way, as a foldable with questionable specs and a really, really steep price. But come on, it looks hot enough that we have got to get one.
There's other big news this week, though! RCS is here, thanks to Google, Stadia is looking bad at the moment for launch, and Disney+ launched to consume all of your out-of-work time. Join us!
Trivia is back at the end of the show as usual.
