Back in January I watched the Sam Mendes and Roger Deakins Film "1917. I was completely blown away.  The film follows 2 WW1 soldiers as they embark on perilous mission to deliver a message that could save countless British lives.

The unique thing about the movie is that it was shot as if it is one continuous shot. I watched the movie and thought, wow, no drone shots I guess.  I then watched a BTS and a saw a drone being used. I looked up the credits and sure enough. Peter Ayriss flew a drone for the film.

Discover from Peter what it was like to work directly with Director Sam Mendes and Cinematographer Roger Deakins. He also dives deep into what it took to get the nearly impossible drone shot for the film.

Take a look up Peters Credentials on IMDB here. He has quite the resume!
