The Drop Pass

And just like that, new NHL season is in full stride!

Thanks to the recent season previews, guest episode and giveaway week, we got some catching up to do in regards to the new ongoing hockey season so, an update episode that will cover the most recent major extensions and injuries, trades, waiver claims, captaincy changes and everything in-between is going to be the motto of today's spectacle.

Also on top of all that, we got some overreacting to do for the first few nights of NHL hockey so stick until the end to find out which teams in my opinion are in full-on panic mode and which guys have rushed throught the gates with John Wick esc vengeance.

Enjoy!

Final division preview in the bag and with that we are set for the upcoming NHL season.

The Pacific Division earns the final honors and on the side, you'll also hear my final trophy and standings predictions without forgetting the moment you guys have been waiting for - my official 2024 cup jinx edition. "Expect the unexpected."

Lots of hours were spent crafting these four season preview episodes so I truly hope that they brought you some value and worked as miniature catapults for the upcoming NHL campaign. Lots of guys still on PTOs and just this week already we've seen the first major injuries so, a lot can still happen until the puck officially drops for the first time but I'll make sure to keep you up to date on the most notable headlines that significantly change NHL's resting heart rate.

And just as an extra reminder for you guys who actually happen to read the descriptions, next week indeed we will have another guest on the show so, make sure you put on a notification for next Monday 'cause these guest appearances are not unfortunately everyday phenomenons so you definetly don't want to miss this one either.

See you again next Monday - Have a blessed week buddy!

Rest in peace Chris Snow.

3/4 Done.

NHL Global Series in the books in the land down under and NHL training camps are underway with full throttle which can only mean that we are just few short days away from the opening night of the NHL 2023-2024 regular season.

We've already covered the Atlantic and Central Divisions in prior weeks which means that today we'll have the Metropolitan Division on the plate to finish off the Eastern Conference before diving into the last remaining division the Pacific, which will be on the cards next week. Metro's power sctructure felt quite a shift during last year's regular season which has completely changed the outlook of the division itself where former veteran powerhouses Pittsburgh and Washington have become the underdogs facing a tough hill to climb when aiming to return back to postseason hockey after 1-year hiatus.

Few teams were handed a platter full of tough love and I also got to give my honest opinion on the Mike Babcock situation so, listener disgression is adviced and if there's any Isles fans out there, let me know what's your take on your team's current outlook 'cause I've lost my patient with the leadership of your team and you are about to hear that in today's episode.

Summer break is over and rightfully so 'cause we got some topics to discuss.

Episode will be dedicated to two gentlemen Rodion Amirov and Rick Jeanerret who sadly passed away during my break and I want to send my condolences to both of their families.

On top of that, at the end of this week's episode I'll give you a small teaser of what about to come in the coming weeks so, make sure you stick until the end to find out which topics will be on display once we start to go through each NHL organization.

This week we will also go through the most recent signings (prospects, free agents and extensions), the two trades that happened during the break, major retirements and as a cherry on top, I will share my honest thoughts on AM34's newest retirement fund announcement.

So a lot has been packaged to this 1h comeback episode - strap up!

No rest for the wicked.

Summer break plans rescheduled thanks to Kyle Dubas, so as you can tell from the title this week's main focus is going to be on the massive three-way trade that materialized last monday. We will break down the trade piece by piece and summarize the outcome for all three parties.

Additionally, we will kick the episode off by going over the most recent signings which include both RFA and UFA deals and at the end, I will touch upon two other noteworthy news pieces related to Flyers' defenceman Ryan Ellis and his future in the NHL + a massive L that is linked to the Canadian Junior League QMJHL.

Quick update episode up ahead which will start my quick annual summer break so, remember to enjoy and make sure you check out any previous episodes during the two weeks that you might've missed.

See you soon!

Time to check out the ridiculous 2024 NHL Calder class.

This week's spotlight will be on the young phenoms that will battle for Calder Trophy this upcoming year and how we are actually going to do that, is by going over the most likely candidates to host the trophy in their parents' basement and by finally ranking them according to their Calder odds (provided my yours truly).

You should expect to see few surprise picks here and there, but for the most part the usual suspects man the top spots on our this week's list and if you happen to disagree, my DMs are always open for civilized discussion.

Goodbye Bergy, we will miss you and like always, the show is opened by the most recent NHL headlines, so get ready for hour's worth of prospect hype!
