  • The Science of Motivation
I had a premonition a great story would unfold in my travels to Northern California. I did and I want to share it with my watchers. I got out of my comfort zone…in the name of practicing what I preach.

  • I Love Las Vegas
I love Las vegas for different reasons than most. The glitz and glamour, gambling and partying is not why I love this city. It is an International City.
Listen to the people who are on elevators, in restaurants, walking the streets, you hear amazing accents, dialects, languages from all over the world and traditions too. all on the streets and in meeting places around Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is the 6th most visited US city by people living outside of the US for 2017, beating out cities like boston, wash. Dc, Chicago and Honolulu. For domestic travelers las vegas is the 7th most visited city. Vacationers favor Vegas to San Antonio, San Diego and Dallas.
It is the sheer excitement I get from meeting people from all over the world that drives me to Las Vegas and any International City….

  • It't Time To Celebrate! You Have Reached the Summit!
We are here. We are at the summit! We made it to the top! You have made it to your MT. EVEREST! We have reached our goal! What is your reaction! Having reached a few summits I can tell you it may not be what you expect!
Celebrations and your reactions depends on a number of factors. Here are two: 1. Your personality. 2. The environment/event
1.If you have a real extroverted personality you will jump for joy, jump up and down and feel the celebration in every part of your body. Introverts may just smile and say “what’s next’.
    2. The environment of celebration means where you are when it happens and what is socially acceptable. A sporting event, concert or a day at the beach means celebrating and cheering exuberantly. If you are in a business setting polite applause is probably the norm.
Much more in this episode too!

  • The Last 10%
Now onto your last 10!. So what is the last 10%. In the physical realm of the mountain climb it literally is the last 10 up the mountain. Your body is exhausted. Maybe your are enduring muscle cramps, dehydration, exhaustion or all of those. the last 10% while only a small percentage seems to be the most difficult. Why? In the climbing scenario it probably is a culmination of the 90% that you have already climbed that has provided a lot of wear and tear on your body.

  • IT’S GRIND TIME
In climbing grind time is that point in your climb where you are too far along to turn around but you still have a significant amount of time to go to reach your summit. In Major League Baseball terms it would be games 80 – 100 of a 162 game schedule. Perhaps you have heard the term “Dog Days Of August”? In the baseball world grind time comes during this traditionally hot and humid month.

  • Find Your Goal Markers
Trail markers can be anything that reminds climbers that they have been to a particular spot on a mountain. They could be something like a sign or flag or it could be a stack of rocks known as cairns. It could be a feather or a flower tied up on a tree on the path. There are no criteria for a marker. As long as it is noticeable it can work.

  • Have A Plan
Most Mountain climbs teach you a life lesson about reaching your goals and the steps you need to meet those goals and dreams. This is where my idea of a keynote came to be. We all have dreams we all have goals and climbing a mountain is a great microcosym of the steps you need to reach those goals and dream. I have cooked those experiences down to six steps.
So buckle up we are about to embark on Step one in my keynote “Finding The Mountain Climber in you.”

  • The Drozcast Podcast Launch
My goal is to enrich your life through helping you become motivated or keep motivated to reach your personal or professional goals.
Along with keeping you motivated we are going to be talking a lot of about leadership. People are not given a formal education on leadership so through this journey I want to share some of my insight on how to be a better leader in life. Folks I can help you with both subjects.
Since this is episode one I want to treat this like the first day of a semester in school. In many cases the first day is syllabus day (explain) assignments, expectations, attendance policies and homework (Call to action) Yes, there will be homework assignments inside the Drozcast but they will be super simple.
This episode is the overview of me, how I got here and my goal…
To always leave you a better person after the podcast than before you started listening

  • A Very Special Celebration
I have mentioned before that I played baseball all the way through college. I graduated from Central Michigan University hitting .300 with 20 Homeruns and 75 RBI. Our team won three consecutive conference championships. Our graduating class is held in high esteem. We celebrated our 30 year reunion of those teams a few weeks ago. It was a very special celebration.
Everyone who attended got the rest of us there caught up on their life. It was a great night. We ended it watching a baseball and having a few beers back at the hotel. It was great to see you Colonel, Tap, Schnick, Barge, Nashville, Cronk, Merv, Freddy, Skip, Coach Keilitz, Nacho, Timmy Mac, Cool Breeze, Denny and Coach Jaksa. What a night!IMG_2330[1]
