We breakdown our final thoughts from the series win at Staples Center and how we think it can boost the Suns confidence going into the Western Conference Semifinals. Cuse spent this weekend getting pitted while surfing and doing an even deeper plunge into the depths of both Blazers and Nuggets fan forums/podcasts. Why, might you ask? Extra! Extra! Hear all about it! Lebron got blown out of the building, left early, and pouted! This week is focused on the absolutely electric Game 5 win, as the Suns take a 3-2 lead over the Lakers. We give our thoughts on the 30 point ass kicking and on the experience from within the packed stadium. We then give our must-see’s for Game 6 to close out the series and move on to the next round. We move on briefly to Mail Time to answer Andrew’s question about the upcoming Mayweather/Paul fight and then finish with some T’s and P’s for Colin with his Man City loss.

This week, we spend most of the time breaking down the Suns first playoff games in over a decade. We talk individual player performances, positives/negatives, LeBron flopping, AD’s egregious 21 FT attempts, the extent of the CP3 injury moving forward and predictions for the upcoming games. We then go “around the world of sports” and hit topics ranging from the PGA championship to NHL playoffs. Last, but certainly not least, we finish with our Grinder/Chill Guy of the week.

The NHL and NBA seasons are winding down towards the end and baseball is in full force and we are here to discuss it all. We start off this week with the depressing demise of the Arizona Coyotes, who were eliminated from playoff contention last night with a loss to the Kings. We also touch on some big news around the league with the dirty play of Tom Wilson and the comradery of the Rangers in their response. We move on to the Phoenix Suns, who very briefly were in 1st place in all of basketball. We make our way over to America’s pastime and talk the recent hot streak of the snakes and question some of the lineup changes for Lovullo. We finish with some fan service for AMac and discuss the upcoming Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders fight, as well as our Grinder/Chill Guy of the week.

The 2021 NFL draft has come to an end, which means that it is time to overanalyze the hell out of it and jump immediately to conclusions about who is awesome and who sucks. In this special episode of The Dry Heat Podcast, Cuse & Hanss break from the mold and go all in on the Cardinals draft selections. We go pick by pick through each of the 7 selections Keim and the Cards made this weekend and give our initial thoughts and what we want to see out of each of them. Is it crazy to want to discuss hypotheticals for players who have yet to play a single down of professional football? Maybe, but then we sure as hell don’t wanna be sane.

We stay with the positive vibes as we move on to the D-backs, who came oh so close to the 8-2 road trip that we had all rooted so hard for. Finally, we finish with some Mail Time and Andrew sends us an interesting segment recommendation moving forward.
