But the arrest widened the gap into something that looks irreparable. Paul Caldwell launched a GoFundMe seeking legal fees and safe housing, using language — "protect ourselves," "urgent situation" — that suggests something more serious than a family disagreement. The Caldwells posted family photos that erased Joseph, Kendra, and all four grandchildren. In a recorded jail call, Kendra confirmed her parents would be out of the house within a month.
