The Hiatus is getting ugly!  The band is down to two men and a drummer we pulled off the street, (they still wrote a cool song), no crew at all and Pete has never been weirder.  An absolutely strange show. 

Pete welcomes a Live From the Dutch Hall regular, Manny Feijo, to the booth.  They talk what its like to look for work as a middle aged man, how much crap we will put up with and really just have a nice chat.  Manny is one of the most honest and open people I know, and he has a big announcement!

Pete calls Steve into the booth to record an update for the listeners, to bring them up to speed on what's happening during our Hiatus.  Spoiler Alert - F All.  So Pete gathers together the Holy Trinity of PNS and takes them on a tropical retreat to figure out this new show!

One of the Nocturnal Emissions has to go, if the voting came down to a tie (Spoiler Alert! - it did) the tie would be broken by Whiskey Wes Haegans.  This is his shocking response!

I thought maybe given recent events, it might be in poor taste to release this episode.  But then I realized, it has always been in poor taste.  Enjoy!  Or don't

Pete hastily brings in the members of the Greatest Band in Canadian Late Night History, the Nocturnal Emissions, individually, to ask them a question that could change the show forever! #PNS 

We miss our listeners so much that we needed to give them a chance to be heard during our hiatus, just for you you all get invited to our next show!

This is the first pilot for new shows we are working on here at Spiky Ball Studios.  In this first episode of Backstage with Pete Van Dyk, Pete sits down with film maker, producer, writer, comedian and actor, Brandon MacIntosh to discuss the more than 21 different occupations he has had in his very eclectic life.  We do this in search of a job that doesn't suck.
