My guest, Brandon Freeman, is 1 half of the rock duo out of Fresno, Ca. CLOUDSHIP. He plays drums & slays at lead vocals (I know, right?) He's also newly married (a couple years) and Jamie even stops by. Brandon is one of the most insightful humans i know & it definitely shows in his lyrics. Cloudship released their 5th album, BELIEVER last year. Which is my favorite so far. I hope you enjoy this half as much as i did.

In this episode I met with Dr. Jim Pugh & CEO, Lisa Wood from Casa Teresa, a shelter for pregnant women in crisis. They help women get their lives in order with different programs & classes such as educational (GED, diploma & college), life skills, parenting, financial and many more. They also remind the women that their situation doesn’t have to define who they are. They help the woman believe in themselves, not just with the classes & programs available, but by showing love & compassion. Things many, if not all of the women at Casa Teresa have been missing from their life. It really can be that simple. Casa Teresa is a great example of people helping people because its the right thing to do. We can all use a little more love & compassion I think. Nothing is too small when it comes to kindness.

Bella came to our apartment like a force of nature. Super outgoing, smart & positive vibe. The more we talked, the more I thought I had to have her on the podcast. There's no Instagram or Facebook link because she doesn't have those. There's no website because she wasn't selling anything. This is just me wanting to give someone who is hardworking & driven in life the chance to not only tell her story. But also to remind all of us, life is what you make of it. Bella is definitely the the type of woman I hope my daughter looks up to.
