The Dutra Difference

Isaac Newman @isaacnewman23 is an award winning tattoo artist & an old friend of mine. I went to North Hollywood to his shop Got Ink? to talk him about tattooing & winning awards at tattoo conventions of over the country, growing up in Mexico & all kinds of old stories from our days in Woodland Hills. We recorded this episode while he was tattooing. Hope the background noise isn't too much. You can reach him at his shop Got Ink? 12446 Oxnard St., North Hollywood, Ca. 818.404.8823

Nef Diaz @neffersun BJJ purple belt & instructor at American Gym. From NY, Miami, ATL to Cali. He definitely has a interesting story & ended up with a great attitude & sense of humor. You can take his class on Mon & Wed @ 7 & on Sat @ 12:30. American Gym 949.631.7303 Costa Mesa, Ca. [email protected] @ringsidewithgeorge

Just me this episode talking about the new Tool album & why its my least favorite one. Drugs & why their good. The Kansas City Chiefs go 4-0, but its more about #fucktheraiders. Also I have my first phone call guest, Jon Napoles from the band Cloudship from Fresno, Ca. He's one of my closest friends & it's always funny talking to him @pros_con_podcast @cloudship @stillmoonlight @brandonfreemanmusic

I sit down ringside with Luc to finish up our interview. This time we talk about his training, fighting, personal training & a few other gems. Also my buddy Jesse Fox stopped by to hang out for a bit. Bookings with Luc can be scheduled with him at @luka_fitness on Instagram or by calling American Gym 949.631.7303 or follow them on Instagram to find out class times & prices. This is the first podcast I did while driving. I'm going to call them CarCasts (probably already a thing. Come along with me as I drive from American Gym in Costa Mesa to my apartment in Anaheim. I hope it wasn't illegal...🤬 @ringsidewithgeorge [email protected]

Another solo run on today's show. I talk about a conversation I had with a young black comedian about knowing/not knowing the day that slavery was abolished. I also talk about the great rock band Cloudship from Fresno, Ca. Plus some other babbling that might not even make any sense. Sorry if you can hear the AC on in the background. But it's hot out here in Cali @ringsidewithgeorge [email protected]

Luc Bondole is a trainer @ American Gym. I sat down with him and the podcast was going so good we decided to make it a 2 parter. Learn how he came from Africa to Maine to California. Father of 2 beautiful girls, personal trainer, well-spoken, just all around good dude. You can find him on Instagram @luka_fitness & on Facebook at Luc Bondole.

My 1st episode is an introduction, letting you know a little about me & what I want from the podcast. Ringside with George is going to let unknown people be known. Let's get to know the people we see everyday but dont really know.
