We’re back with "PICTURE THIS," an exploration through every Best Picture nominee ever. This month, hosts Dylan Randazzo and Chadwick Webb are looking at the nominees of 1943 (for the 1944 ceremony). The slate of movies are "Casablanca," "For Whom the Bell Tolls," "Heaven Can Wait," "The Human Comedy," "In Which We Serve," "Madame Curie," "The More the Merrier," "The Ox-Bow Incident," "The Song of Bernadette," and "Watch on the Rhine." We are also so lucky to be joined by an esteemed guest, Dan Skip Allen (Disappointment Media), who has joined us to talk about one of his favorite movies.
We break down each nominee individually, discuss some other notable 1943 movies, and in the end, we will rank the nominees ourselves to determine OUR Best Picture winner of 1943. We will also award prizes to our best actors and actresses of these ten films.
Also, make sure to stick around for the end, where we will announce NEXT month's year in Oscars history.
